Olive and I both loved the launch of Maybelline’s Master Glaze. A little cream blush stick that comes in 6 colors. Olive is currently using Just Pinched Pink. It actually turned her into a Focker. I prefer and am still reaching for the one with a little more punch called Pink Fever. Now Maybelline released two new Limited Edition shades as part of their Dare to Go Nude collection. These just landed at our local CVS and Walgreens. Each display only had 4 of these. If you do pick them up, make sure the small safety seal sticker hasn’t been broke.
The two shades are Nude Rebellion (201) and Barely Pink (202). Here are my thoughts. At first swipe, I was in love as the pigmentation is really beautiful but as I sheered it out, the color seemed to dissipate. I think these are a little light for Ivory. Because of my fair to medium skin tone and blonde hair, these didn’t give me enough of a contrast. I tried to use Nude Rebellion as a highlighter but because of the pink undertone, it just looks like misplaced blush. I love a highlighter that has more of a champagne shade. I have handed these off to Olive. I can’t wait to see if these are for her.
